How Long is the Spurs Season Ticket Waiting List

For those of us who love football would do anything to be able to watch our club play in the biggest competitions against the biggest teams. This makes the idea of a season ticket an exciting prospect.

For Spurs fans, the past few years have seen several changes with their season tickets ranging from price increases to an influx of new tickets when the new stadium was built. In this blog post we will be discussing all of this and more!

How Long is the Waiting List?

Unfortunately, there is no real way of telling how long you may be waiting for a Spurs season ticket since there is not really much information on this on the club site.

Although it has been stated that the list is roughly 80,000+ people long not including the current 45,000 season ticket holders.

How quickly this list goes down largely depends on how many season tickets the club’s owners decide to offer at the start of each new season.

With many more fans opting to add their name to the waiting list, this could get much longer if there are few season tickets available in coming seasons.

Why is the Waiting List so Lengthy?

The main reason for the length of the waiting list is because of the changing of their stadium in 2017 from White Hart Lane to Wembley and later the brand new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in 2019.

Since the new stadium was so glamorous and is much larger than White Hart Lane, this led to many more people wanting to get their hands on a season ticket.

This massive influx of people brings us to where we are today, a long waiting list of eager fans that is growing by the year.

How To Join the Tottenham Hotspur Waiting List?

In order to get a spot on the waiting list, you will need to invest in the One Hotspur+ Membership which is around £55 a year. It is important to understand that the baseline membership subscription will not be enough to place you on the waiting list.

A major issue with this is that your place is only saved while you have your membership active, if you cancel at any point you will lose your place and would have to start from the back again.
