The Camp Nou

The Camp Nou (or Nou Camp as it is sometimes refered to) is located in the east of Barcelona, 3 miles from the historic city centre.

We recommend reaching the stadium at least an hour in advance of kick-off. This will give you enough opportunity to sample the atmosphere and locate your seats in good time.

Getting There

The stadium can easily be reached by metro. There are a number of stations all within about 10 minutes walking distance from the ground. Metro stop 'Palau Reial' or 'Les Corts' on Line 3 are in close proximity, as are metro stops 'Collblanc' or 'Badal' on Line 5.

Taxis to the stadium are easy to find though there always seems to be a shortage straight after the match. It may be wise to go for a beer in a local bar and let the crowds disappear before looking for one.

Food and Drink

There are many independent bars within a block or two of the stadium to grab a prematch cerveza. It's worth noting that no alcohol is allowed inside Camp Nou so make time for a drink before hand if that's what you fancy.

Camp Nou is located in more of a residential areas than say the historic city centre which means dining options are somewhat limited nearby, although there are a handful of bars and restaurants which serve locals on matchdays such as La Riera and El Rus.

Within the stadium and around the ground you can find vendors who sell the usual type of match day fast food such as hot dogs and chips.

Of course the city centre has the best range of eating and drinking options, and seeing that Barcelona is a city famed for its cuisine you will have no trouble locating options. The food hub however is centered in the historic centre (Gothic Quarter, El Born and Raval), which is often a good place to stop before heading to the stadium.

Barcelona Shop

Be sure to leave enough time to visit the Barcelona shop which sits outside the stadium's west stand. Here you can pick up football kits, training equipment, fashion, homeware, souvenirs and gifts.## Camp Nou Seating

Category 1: These seats are viewed as some of the best tickets available in the stadium and they are often positioned in the Longside Lower of the stadium. Therefore, at Camp Nou Category 1 tickets will be housed in the lower tier of the Lateral Stand and Tribuna Stand. These seats offer unrestricted views of the action inside one the most iconic football stadiums in world football.

**Category 2:**A very popular choice with Football Ticket Pad customers. Category 2 seats are hosted in the upper tier of the longside of the stadium, offering seats on the halfway line and a panoramic view of the action. The seating at Camp Nou is quite steep compared to other stadiums, therefore, category 2 seats can give fantastic views and still be close to the pitch.

Category 3: Behind each goal in the lower sections of the stand. At Camp Nou Category 3 seats will be in the North and South ends of the stadium in Gol Norte and Gol Sur. Supporters are close to the pitch and this can be a great spot when Barcelona are attacking towards your end of the pitch.

**Category 4:**Often the cheapest tickets listed on Football Ticket Pad will be Category 4 tickets which are housed in the upper tier behind each goal. The views can be restricted and far away from the pitch depending on availability. However, supporters can get a good seat in category 4 depending on the location of the seat. For example, at Camp Nou there are no restricted views, however category 4 seats will be high up and far away from the playing surface.

## Barcelona Last Season
